Had mine for a few years now, works great. I like the removable mesh filter since it allows you to alternate materials and experiment. Yes, the inner ring can slip out but it's not prone nor does it just jump free out of nowhere.

I don't notice any difference in frequency response in the tests I've done, just a cleaner response and no dulling of my voice.

I had oiginally used mine mainly for miking my guitar amp to kill transient noise, works great.

The knob for locking it onto your boom needs a good amount of muscle when locking it into position and this relates to my only criticism. It drives a bolt directly against the metal shaft of the boom. No plate with rubber padding between the bolt and boom shaft for protection and better gripping so I simply made my own. A piece of rectangular clear plastic cut from a CD spindle cover and some rubber used for feet on appliances.

Beyond that, it's just as good as any you see running 4 times the cost. Possibly better since you can insert different screen materials. Just be aware that if someone unfamiliar with it is fussing with the ring, they may pop it free and frown upon your gear lol.

I got it free when i bought a new condenser. It's pretty cheeply made. Nothing stays tight to long, and thus it requires a lot of adjustment to keep it going. It filters pops well enough though, it's just kinda agrivating because it comes loose so much. But hey, I got it free so I'm happy :p

This Pop filter is very nice and the long goose neck gives the user the flexibility to move it in many ways, one complaint is that the plastic that holds the mesh had a tendancy to slip out of place, Overall very good!!!

I don't know why they wouldn't mention this in the ad, but this is a double sided pop filter. I haven't seen any this good at this price. Got mine free with a microphone also, the Rode NT1A. I've got another pop filter I payed twenty bucks for & I'm using it junction with this one to create a three stage filter. Can't say much for the build or it's durability as I just got mine today, but so far the gooseneck has been pretty flexible and stays in place well. If you're having trouble positioning in front of an upright mic, hang the mic upside down from the shockmount and bring the pop filter under and up. Overall at this price I'd say buy it, it is afterall a two stage filter;^]
