I have to say, I've only been recording for about 2 1/2 years, but even with my limited abilities, this mic dose wonders! The C 451 B has great clarity as well as strong bass pickup. I was surprised to find that this mic worked very well on my bass amp! It's also great for percussion. I used this mic on my snare, and it produced an incredible punch that ran chills down my spine!

I now only use AKG mics.
