I got these to replace a cheap pair of "studio" headphones I used with the TV and music player. First I looked at the local electronics stores and decided they were way overpriced. These cans cost less, feel tougher, sound better, are more comfortable... You get the idea. I'm not using these for any kind of critical mixing or reference stuff, just for personal use. They sound super nice on my mp3 player and the PC and awesome on movies. Never buy cheapie headphones. Get these. You're paying the same up front for a better product.

I've been using these for years and I am very pleased with them. Much better ther you'll find in most Nashville studios they use some of the crappiest headphones I wonder where they get them? I'll stick with the k44's I also have some much much more expencive phones but I really can't tell any difference except they are usually heavy and not worth the price difference" use a good phone amp" and go with the 44's or 55's.

These are very detailed, especially for the price, overall a very good value. The low end is a little lacking, but not to a huge extent...Definitely a no brainier if your low on cash! I got these about a year ago... Since then they have been stomped on, run over my a computer chair more times than I can count, fallen on, slept on, and kicked around like a soccer ball. And they still work like they just came out of the box. Worth the money if only for the durability!

You simply cannot get a better set of cans at this pricepoint. Actually, you'd be getting a great deal even if they charged TRIPLE what you'd pay now. I've used these for my home recording setup for nearly 10 years and I have one solitary complaint. The shape of the padding is less ergonomic than more expensive models, so if you're a big-eared fella, then these will hurt your cartilage after a couple hours of wear. But you know, they're still worth buying!

Pretty descent headphones for the money, high power handling, good sound and comfy. As far as isolation goes, your better off with something else. Very useable for studio recording of guitar and drums, need something else for vocals.
