The AKG WMS 400 Wireless System for guitar boasts advanced features that give guitar and bass players pro-level performance, flexibility, and an auto setup that's completely painless. This is my first wireless system. I did some reading, compared some specs, and I am so glad I was patient about it. I hear no difference in tone compared to using a cable, and I use expensive cables (Sommer). Only negative is battery life. It only uses 1 battery at a time, but the transmitter has died on me in the middle of a gig before. Now I change the battery at the end of the second set.

We have one of these for our wireless headset at our church. It works great! Has great range, and the quality is awesome. I don't hear any hissing, like I hear in cheaper systems. I haven't heard this thing drop out on me yet. Takes normal AA batteries and runs for about 6 hours! Used a cheaper system recently, and I really missed having this thing around. Sounds great and is really reliable.

For 30 years I've been teathered by a cord. I didn't trust wireless systems. I bought this think about a two weeks ago and have had plenty of time to play with it now. It's tremendous, and exceptionally clean. The new modo in the band is now, "Robert is free to move about the cabin" !!!!!!!! A little steep on price, but an awesome performer that I highly reccommend.
