Recently, I bought this single-channel 31-band narrow-range bandwidth control EQ for my sound rig at home. I already had another one. It is an impressive product, being easy to use, has multiple i/o options (rca, 1/4, xlr), so fitting it into your own rig is easy, even if connecting between dissimilar connection types. It has a solid-steel chassis, tactile feel on sliders, +/-(6 or 12 db) switch and helps finesse sound that would not be possible on a standard graphic EQ. For the money (or even not considering it), this is a first-rate piece of audio equipment that should be added to your system. I bought an art 351 from musiciansfriend.com and it arrived very quickly. when i put the 31 band eq in my system, it made a tremendous difference versus my old, tired and somewhat lackluster 10-band. while it does not have the cascading led display, it WAY more than makes up for in being able to manipulate a very narrow sound band, giving me MUCH greater precision in tailoring my sound. it is now an integral part of a sound system (dbx, behringer, carver, fostex, klipsch, peavey, harman/kardon, soundtech, monster cable, just to name a few brands in my equipment array) i consider quite excellent in and of itself.

this is a wonderful addition to anyone's sound rig, regardless of its price -- some of the best money i've ever invested in sound equipment.
