The Q-SD rackmountable DJ Mixer has two phono, 4 aux, 4 line, and 2 mic inputs as well as an SD card reader so you can mix MP3s from your SD cards of up to 4GB capacity with all your other music. A blue LCD display allows you to keep track of what's going on, with cue, folder, pitch, loop/reloop, time bar, repeat, single, track, play, and elapsed/remain time indicators. It also shows BPM, pitch, and time meters, as well as a character display that tells you the name of the track and album when a SD Card is loaded.

The Q-SD rack mixer gives you control over microphone volume, treble, and bass; has tempo lock, seamless loop, trim output adjustment, cue mixing, and is Q-Start compatible when using American Audio CD players with Fader Q-Start. It provides a feather fader and crossfader for blending A and B output together. It also provides high output to headphones and a balanced XLR output with master output balance control.

The best mixer I have owned thus far

I use the Q-SD mixer with a Mackie amp and two or sometimes four EV speakers. I needed a smaller mixer for my computer setup. Compared to an older rane mixer I was using man what a difference.

The bass, mids and highs sounded great. I used to have the bass maxed out on my rane but had to cut back on the QSD. The amp OL light was blinking on and off (may need a bigger one).

The Q-SD's mp3 player jack is a heaven send for people that have requests they want to play from their own music collection. The SD card reader is so convenient and easy to use on the Q-SD. Just make sure you place your mp3 files in easy to search folders that you will recognize.

I have been djing for more than 15 years. My hat is off to American Audio for another well designed product.
