The system comes with 4 Quick Scan scanners, each with a bright 150W lamp and 4 interchangeable gobos and 4 colored dichroic lenses. Scanners function as one master with 3 slaves where the scanner functioning as the master will react to an audio signal via the built-in microphone and the slaves will follow so that the mirrors will rotate to the beat of the music.

Great Show, Small Price

I use my Quick Scans very often as a mobil lighting technician. For the price you cant beat it! The lapms are going stong after several years of much use. They put out a great display, only one DMX channel for each fixture stinks, however a great show is provided with these!!

I use these in my truss set-up. They do what you need them to do. They do not have many features and have a simple mirror movement. The are a good light to add to your set-up because of the coverage. I use them in DMX mode, the are a really good light for the price.

P.S. I had one of these break (after years of having them) and american dj fixed it for nothing!!

I just got the system and have used it once in a show. I'm very unimpressed with the amount of light put out, the motion, the mobility, and the toughness of the lights.

The mirrors are very fragile (one fell off and chipped during the first show.)

Transportation and setup are a pain.

Maybe this product would be good as stationary lighting in a very dark club.

Maybe I expect too much but these scanners are pretty cheesy. I should of knew better, you get what you pat for. There are better effects for the money. They have a very simple mirror. They have jumpy motion. The blue and the red are very dark so it cuts into the light output. If shipping wasn't so much. I would send it back.

Bought a set of quick scans they done a good job the first time out. Had a fan go out in one of the units American DJ replaced it free no problem. Worked great ever since. I found out if you put two on the truss and two on the floor it gives you a great crisscross pattern with fog.
