I bought the AT2010 to try on Ham Radio & it works great. I had tried several other mics - AKG, MXL & another Audio-Technia the ATR-50. All going through a Beringer 802 mixer. The AT2010 gets the best audio reports hands down. If you are into amature radio & looking for a great mic, give this one a try.

We bought two of these for our church and they are dynamite. I was after some SM58's but the store was out and they showed me this mic. Now I bring them with me where ever I sing. Haven't sang in a better mic. Sometimes I forget to turn on the effects on our board and don't even realize it until I see there off. The mic just sounds great by itself. Also I've used one to mic up my guitar and have been very impressed with the sound. One thing though, they are condensors and have to be phantom powered.

If you've been using Dynamic mics and wonder what your vocals could sound like with a studio quality mic, then you need to check this out! Immediately you will notice increased clarity and tone as the AT2010 captures subtle nuances left behind by other microphones. I've used this mic in recording and the vocals really stand out above the instrumental tracks. Rugged built like all of Audio-Technica's gear, it is a great value. After using this mic, you CAN'T go back to dynamics as the difference is night and day.
