These headphones sound great. No sound coloration, and plenty of kick-but not too much. I use them about half of the time in mixing and they're pretty comfortable. I also really like the way they look and the "DJ style" functionality. They do block out ambient noise and most lighter or softer sounds. I thought they would have gold plated connectors, but they don't. No big deal, but a longer cable would have been nice(also no big deal). Overall, if you have more money, buy these anyway(and a cable extension), because you probably won't find anything better.
