All switching is under microprocessor control with proprietary algorithms for instant, seamless operation. An individual priority pre-select switch for each mic/line channel allows choice of one-channel-at-a-time operation, all channels active, or any mix of moderator override. The last microphone on stays on so that ambient sound is never muted. Plus, any number of SmartMixers can be linked to create a system for large multi-mic installations. The priority control system extends throughout the entire chain.

Even many professional musicians do not know about automatic mixers and how they function. Typically, they are used for boring board meetings where technically-challenged executives need a box that's smarter than they are to turn mics on and off. But just because corrupt corporate cronies use these doesn't mean they are bad! In fact, the exceedingly low noise, high-headroom, balanced line in and outs, and of course, the utter simplicity, make these mixers GREAT for keyboard players, guitarist with multiple effects and singer-songwriter-strummers. These are small but mighty, super easy to use, lightweight and sound great. You want a trully portable and simple mixer with ultra-pro specs? This thing rocks!
