Man, I wish that there was a 10 I could check for Quality and Value, because these AT mics rock! And this MF price is a steal. In our rehearsal studio we have our PA facing us and we never get feedback from these mics! Just for fun once I tried to get feedback and I could not do so, unless I really pushed the EQ highs and mids to ridiculous levels, and even then it was barely there! Who needs Shure mics? Buy these AT mics and you won't be sorry!

If you need a workhorse mic at a reasonable price, this is for you. Buy these as a "package deal", and you won't be disappointed. Give the lead singer a more expensive mic and the backups a few of these.

I've read online reviews about the Audio-Technica M4000S suggesting that, due to the low price--and it is modestly priced, it couldn't be any good. After all, you just DON'T get decent fidelity from a sub-$80 microphone. I gave these a shot anyway; I had a gift certificate, what could it hurt? I was very pleased with the hefty feel of the mic right out of the box. Lightweight mics with thin windscreens just don't inspire much confidence. Replaced my studio mic (Shure SM57) with the M4000S for a tryout and I was shocked. Crisp, not tinny highs and solid, not muddy, lows. I mainly use mics for voiceovers for video production so the reproduction has to be spot on. The Shure served my needs long and well, but now will be only a backup to the M4000S should it ever fail. Doesn't seem likely; rest well SM57.

I've bought a lot of mics that claim to be feedback resistant. I've never owned one like this one. Even at high volumes "no feedback". The signal is crystal clear. I bought 2 because of the price and then bought 2 more because they are the best mics I've ever owned. They blow Sure 57s and 58s away. NO CONTEST.
