We have 4 of them. Each pair is powered by one of our two Fender PA-135 tube amps. The whole setup is loud. Really loud. Essentially, each speaker is getting 135W peak tube watts, and since they're rated at 550W, that's about perfect. Yeah, they're bulky, but they're just the ticket for doing a small outdoor show.

I bought a pair of the LX218 cabinets. I am very happy with the Big Sound. Clean and Loud these 18" low end speakers rock the place. I can haul them in my Toyota Rav no problem. B52 makes great cabinets.

I've owned these speakers for three years now and they still rock the house. Crisp highs, smooth midrange and kick-a** bass. Don't let the price fool you these speakers are worth 3 times more I use a qsc plx 3402 to power these babies. Get you a pair you'll be happy you did.
