Satellite, Right-facing Subwoofer, Right-facing Bottom Controls Covered Satellite, Covered, Left-facing

The B-52 Matrix 2000 Speaker Sound System consists of 2 - 12" 2-way speakers, an 18" subwoofer with a 3-channel amplifier, and circuitry housed in a separate compartment on the sub unit's back. A 600W amp drives the subs, and 2 - 300W amps drive the 2-ways. All of the components are matched for the best possible sound and balance with minimal tweaking. All you have to do is connect the B-52 Matrix 2000 system components, plug in the power cord, plug in your mixer or other sound source, and you're ready to go!

The B-52 subwoofer enclosure is divided into 2 separate compartments. The front chamber serves as the cabinet for the cast-frame, 4" voice coil and 18" subwoofer. The rear chamber houses all of the system's electronic circuitry, which includes the amplification for all 3 components, power supply, compressor, and preamps. The B-52 subwoofer has a power handling capability of 600W and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

Each 12" 2-way Matrix 2000 speaker is loaded with a B-52 custom-designed 12" woofer and a 1" titanium diaphragm compression driver, mounted to a 90° x 40° constant directivity horn. The speakers can be pole mounted, used as stage monitors, or flown with built-in 3/8"—16 TPI hardware for permanent installations. For transport, they mount onto the subwoofer's front grille.

Transporting the B-52 Matrix system is easy: Move the subwoofer onto its casters and place the included cover over the subwoofer. Next, pull the included covers over the satellite speakers and close the zippers. It is recommended that you transport the subwoofer and satellites separately. You may transport all the components at the same time by placing the satellite speakers onto the subwoofer's front panel facing down. Secure the satellite speakers to the subwoofer with the included locking strap by fastening it to the bar handles on the side of the subwoofer cabinet.

The B-52 Matrix 2000 Speaker Sound System has a limited lifetime warranty on cabs and compression drivers; 5-year warranty on speakers; 2-year warranty on amplifiers.

B-52s bring down the house

We have used exclusively the Matrix 2000 since 2007, and we get thunderous bass, thrilling treble, and clean midrange sound regardless of the power level. The 1200-watt amps can deliver a consistent 120dB to large audiences. For large venues, I recommend using two systems on each end with a mono signal. The B-52s simply take a beating and continue to punch!!

I am a mobile DJ, and I've been using these Matrix systems for five years. I own two of the Matrix 2000 and one Matrix 1000. These babies "pump out the sound" week in and week out! The amps and pre-amp boards will go out after some time, but they are pretty inexpensive to replace. By this time, I have re-loaded all of my speakers and used Peavey Black Widows, only adding to their awesome sound and power. It's pretty "massive" when two of the systems are put together. Oh yeah, the subs are extremely heavy, but, I don't care, it's what I want. My "party people" dance all over the top of them every weekend, and, aside for getting a little dirty, or down right muddy (I just hose 'em off), they hold up great! I don't think you can break 'em, 'cause if you could, we would have done it by now!

I'm a mobile DJ and I can't begin to say how much I love this Matrix 2000 system. The sound is really good and it has not let me down. It will a year in May that I own the system. I have a done a lot of private parties and everyone is like wow... sweet system. I would recommend this to everyone. I rarely endorse anything, but the Matrix 2000 is the way to go for any mobile DJ.

I bought it about a year ago, while shopping around for a pair of jbl eon 15 g2. I sound checked the eon g2 and thought it to be the best bang for the buck. BUT, that was before I sound checked the matrix 2000. Persons passing by wanted to see what was giving that clean and yet thunderous sound. I took it instantly since it was the only one, I now own 2, yes thats right I ordered another right away and WOW. Since then 4 persons have bought it because they heard mine and wanted to know where I puchased. There is no comparison in my opinion not with any other brand of speaker in the price range that I've seen or heard, NO NOT ONE. JBL I once loved you, BUT B-52 stole my heart. Looking for amazing speakers and do not want to break the bank? Don't hesitate buy it now, you won't regret it. The subs are built like tanks and are heavy, really heavy, but who cares the sound is to die for. B-52 You guys are amazing. I'm a fan for life.

I am a mobile DJ and Ibout a matrix 2000 about four years ago after reading the reviews I went to demo one and thought that the system could not be what everyone said it was because of it's size. I tried it and fell in love with the sound. I now have two of them and having been using them for almost four years and they sound as good as the day I bought them. I have used them for all kinds of events including weeding and high school dances. If you buy one you will not be disapointed.
