The Behringer DJX700 Pro DJ Mixer will liven up your events. You get a 5-channel DJ mixer loaded with must-have groove features such as high-grade 45mm Ultraglide faders with 500,000-cycle life expectancy. Behringer's VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) technology goes hand-in-hand with the faders - the audio signal does not run directly through them; instead, the faders only provide a control voltage to the VCAs. The advantage: practically no audio noise caused by mechanical wear.

Your crowd will be astounded by the 47 breathtaking digital effect presets in 24-bit quality. They include delay, reverb, flanger, filter, panner, ultrabass, exciter, Vinylizer, voice changer, and more.

Beatmatching tracks is a cinch with the intelligent BPM counter. Features like Sync Lock and Beat Assist help you seamlessly align 2 tracks without having to rely solely on your ears.

The awesome XPQ 3-D surround function widens the stereo image and adds life and transparency to your sound.

The improved ULN (Ultra Low-Noise) preamps keep your sound clean with nothing added. You get maximum headroom, minimal noise, and ultratransparent sound.

Decent but flawed.

As a bunch of people stated, it's good for bedroom DJs. I've owned one for close to 6 months, still goin good, but I would never use it for a show. The channel level lights aren't the most accurate things in the world, which can make it hard to get good volume levels without a moniter, and the effects are crap. Also, note that the bpm counter does not go ever 160 bpm, and even under 160, in my experience is unreliable. Good for a bargain, overall.

This mixer is not bad but it does not hold up well. It has good sound, nice features, but the output is low. The FX are NOT GOOD! I kept mine in a Odyssey Flight Case, took care of it, used it at clubs and parties and after 8 or 9 months it just broke down on me. This mixer is good for a beginner or a bedroom DJ but it is not to be mistaken for a serious DJ mixer.

Ok so everyone here cant throw down 5-6k on a complete Pioneer setup, right? Right. So for all of us mere mortals, we have to settle for whatever we can afford, and for most of us, this is it. As far as 'bang for your buck' goes, this is amazing. It gets the job done extremely well as far as home use, small gigs, and house parties go. NOT FOR CLUB USE! this does not have the handling capabilities that other 'pro' mixers have, and the effects leave something to be desired. but if your on a budget and looking for a lot for your money, this is the mixer for you!! Just be careful with the levels. party hard but party safe.

I just got this mixer a couple days ago. It works like a charm [except for the effects] effects are the only this that dont really work on this mixer. This mixer is a great bang for your buck, seriously. The EQ's are pretty good I think they work phenomenal. I suggest you read the manual first though, if you try using it like I did before reading the manual you'll get turned off in a second & want to get rid of it. It's actually a great mixer, not a pioneer or A&H but it gets the job done. As far as reliability I have yet to find out. Just take care of your baby and she'll take care of you. Remind you that this is NOT a professional top dog mixer, If you're a professional then you probably shouldnt be looking at behringer mixers. Then again IMO very few of us are actually "professionals", so you shouldnt be judging equipment form a professionals P.O.V. seeing as how you WONT be using it like a professional does. BOTTOM LINE: If you're looking for a back up or a bedroom mixer try the djx700, I like it. =]]

Disregard any negative reviews you may have read. This is a nice mixer that is easy to use and sounds surprisingly good. Why spend hundreds more on a Pioneer when this does the same thing? My only complaintsare it needs balanced (XLR) outputs for powered speakers and some of the plastic knobs are somewhat fragile. I highly recommend putting this mixer in a case or coffin to protect it. Other than that, Behringer hit the nail on the head with this mixer!
