I bought 2 of these for my birthday and they are great! I was concerned at first about the low price thinking they wouldn't be good, but they really surprised me. I definitely recommend them.

I picked up a pair of these on a whim (sometimes I can't turn down a bargain) and was incredibly surprised by the clarity, range, and even the punch of these 15s. I've used them in a variety of settings, from small acoustic gigs to full-on live reggae club shows and private engagements. While they may lack some of the cabinet details of more expensive speakers, they more than make up for it in sound quality and roadworthiness. Even if price is no object, I would encourage you to at least test these in a few rooms before purchasing other cabinets twice the price (or more).

You know, when I first saw the Behringer products I asked some guys from the Music Shop, what's the deal? None of them spoke positive about them. Since I hardly listen to anyone anyway and I thought it was too good of a deal not to try (can try anything for 45 days!) I bought them and a powered Behringer Mixer for our bands practice studio (all venue's we play has there own PA) The result is..... I love Behringer Live Sound Products. Excellent quality, performance, costs. I sing and play guitar, have used dozens of different PA's and setups. You wont go wrong with these. Something to note is if you are going to play live with these in a little bigger venue's I would spend the extra $80 and get the PRO Series, and match them with some Behringer Subs. These are great if you are just headed that way too. You could always use these for excellent monitors!

I have had a pair of E1520 performer's for over a year now, paired to EP1500 and their counter part subs (e1800X) powered by Crown XLS 602. I could not believe the sound quality the first time I hooked them up. I have also ran all 4 (cabs and subs) with just the amp, and was equally impressed. We also have a JBL TR 15" cab we are now using as a monitor, and in a side-by-side comparison these babies really won me over. The JBL does have a stronger SPL, but the Behringer's have much smoother high's and great midrange. The bottom end is good enough for small rooms, but anything over 50-75 people or with heavy-style music you will definitely want subs. The cabnets are very sturdy and handles make a comfortable transport to and from the shows, not to mention look very pro. we use them at least twice a week, about 5 hours each service, and have traveled with them, and they have held up great. the only problem I have had was a weak solder on the woofer of one cab, quick fix. My only complaint is the lack of a second input, to run paralell you will have to splice cable's back at the amp. Also, be aware that they only have speakon jacks, NO 1/4 inch, but any one serious about their sound would only want Speakon anyway. Overall, give them a listen and then look at the price...UNBEATABLE DEAL!!!

Well worth it

I play lead guitar in a hard rock band and these speakers are great. We use two 12" Ev's and two 15" B1520's and the Behringers are much clearer and precise. The Behringers even sounded better when the Ev's were EQ'd and they werent. I have a Peavey GPS 2600 and it makes these speakers scream, but no problems. PS..the 2600 is worth every penny, it blows Crowns, Behringer, QSC amps away. I can only turn the level up about half way or it would otherwise blow my speakers. A**-thumping bass.
