I own one and its poor in power and failed two time in just 8 month using on weekends only. I spend a lot of money in this device so I dont recomend it.

I bought this a little over a year ago in Fresno, CA. I had a 1200 watt powered Carvin mixer that clipped out and lost power all the time so I bought the Behringer as a backup while the Carvin was in for repair. I love the portability of this mixer. It is light, it has ample power for our duo. We usually have (2) mics, (1) electric guitar and (1)Ipod for backup tracks. I used it in the right/left main setup as well as the main/monitor setup and it performs great everytime. It's been outside at rodeos as well as indoor venues, and once on a trailer in a parade powered by a generator. Never had any trouble at all. In fact, I've only used the Carvin mixer once in the last year since it came out of the shop, just to see if it was indeed fixed. The Carvin has become the backup and the Behringer is used almost exclusively. The only thing you need to watch out for is adequate voltage. If this unit is getting anything less than about 110VAC, it will not work properly. We tried to use it with a generator at the Salinas, CA rodeo this summer and come to find out the generator was only putting out 100 volts. Found another generator that was putting out 110VAC and the mixer worked perfect. My only complaint as far as features go, is I wish the preamp outputs on the front had the option of EQ in or out. Other than that, for the price, the size, weight, features and power of this mixer is unmatched in my opinion & I've been playing music for 34 years.

I bought this a few years ago, and within a few months the sound effects actually stopped working, and it gave me a weird bad sound insted. So I shipped it back, and got a new one. And no problems so far, it did clip for an entire show.. But it was outside on a hot day in the sun. So other than that (which was my fault) It seems okay

After using it for a year it failed at a gig. It started clipping the vocals. I thought it was the voltage but it did the same thing at practice. I had the unit for a little over a year. Behringer won't give out schematics and the closest authorized repair shop is over 50 miles away. I will not buy Behringer again.

Matching Impedance is a must with this powered mixer! Like many other reviewers, I also had problems with the vocals clipping. Both of its amps (when non bridged) are rated for a minimum of 4 ohms. The only time we had the clipping problem is when our mains were at 2 ohms (two 4 ohm speakers ran parallel). Lower impedance = higher wattage output. Too much wattage triggers the 'clip' and eventually a failsafe that shuts the mixer off. The mixer has a great sound and great features! Just make sure the total impedance of your speakers match it's rating.
