Behringer has really out done its self with the SL2442fx. The 4 subgroups are something found on alot of more expensive boards. I have owned Mackie and Peavey and this one really beats them hands down. The effects are a bit drab. But the built in FBQ really does work. It looks imtimidating to start with for beginners, but with in a few mins even they can handle it thanks to a decent ok manual. The mic/channel noise- what noise, there is none. I would reccomend using a set of crown amps with this board though, real clean sound. I then use a set of Peavey SP's to finish it out and my band gets a nice clean crisp sound. No guitar amps we plug straight in. But, it would be nice to see some USB's on these models and a integrated gig light post. Thus the 4 on features.

I was peforming at a concert where someone had touched the buttons on the mixer board and didn't know how to set the board back to its original state of sound.

So, I ran a check on the sound system where the effects were changed. Then pressed one button after another until I heard the bare-naked plain sound I was looking for. Solving the echoing problem was easy. I simply pressed the "Main" Button on the left hand side of the effect channel and left the other buttons alone and depressed upwards.

Thanks to Behringers Dual 24 Bit Digital Multi-Effects Processor, I was able to quickly solve the problem within a matter of seconds.

This is a great mixer. We use it in our old worship center at my church. (We have several events per week that happen) We put a Yamaha M7CL in our new worship center (BIG upgrade). But this board is great. It has been used everyday for the past year, and nothing has gone wrong with it. Still works like brand new.
