Perfect for improving yourself

I bought this to sing and play guitar through and found many more uses. The effects are great just to sweeten you sound. My playing really improved and everyone likes my home setup which lets me hook up all my mics, guitar effects, computer and home stereo with room for friends to jam too. I have also recorded with it. With headphones I can jam through an mp3 playlist and not wake the family. Quick Tip: keep the dust out. Mine got crackly but I was able to remedy it with a compressed air cleaning.

I was recently asked to run the PA for a local band, and this was their mixer. I could tell as soon as we started sound checks that this thing would be frustrating me all night. It's absolutely terrible. It produces it's own noise on the speaker line, the effects sound trashy and empty, and there are far too few EQ options to properly mix and proportion the sound. Skip Behringer and go for a Mackie or Yamaha, you won't regret it.

I have been using this in recording for over a year, and this unit still amazes me for the quality and the feature. The preamps are clean, the eq is linear, and the effects are very nice! Simple, clean, and reliable. Can't beat it!

I've been working on a small studio for composing my songs and find that this small powerful package is a real feature for those who need space and it turned out great for my application. As for Quality, the components is excellent and recieve my approval in construction, the faders are silky smooth, the nobs, switches and buttons are great too, nice solid feel to it. The head room and added features in this mixer is far better than some that are more costly in price. You have to hear one from someone who has one and work all the features to take account on how well it performs in real audio articulation. The FX model effects 24-bit A/D and D/A converters does have enough to fill in the spots that you are looking for and is adjustable in using the FX return nob, you can tailor more or less gain to the blend. I would recommend those who are on a budget and you'll be happy to own one from my experience.

I bought two of these just for recording. I couldn't believe how good the effects sounded, although I usually use plugins. I can't think of anything negative to say. It does the job.
