Xenyx 802 mixer

Right price, if you don't use Vista

I'll start by saying this: If you use Vista (32/64) then DO NOT BUY this. The FCA202 interface will not work with either OS. They have links on their site to the beta drivers for Vista 32 but it just kicks you to the home page. I've tried to contact their support with no results as of yet. I have a backup XP system that I can use it on though. I'd expect them to release them at some point though... Keep checking. As far as quality and the like goes, it's a great package for the price. I am trying to figure out my issues with using Audition but I have managed to get some audio down and the quality is impressive enough and works fine for my purposes. You will see a lot of people saying you get what you pay for that and that's true. I'm not a pro-studio person. I'm a hobbyist and I'm ok with sounding, well, "ok"!

Ok. I would like to start by saying I am a Producer, Composer, I play the keyboard, sing, and record for other people and their projects. This kit comes with just about everything you
need.
The headphones are GREAT. They look dumb but sound excellent.
The mic is ok, but I recommend an MXL 990 condenser.
The mixer is BEAUTIFUL. You can use it as a multi-track recorder, preamp mixer, you have to have it for good monitors, ! It comes with some software, but buy Goldwave form their site and get Adobe Audition, cause the ones that come with this are too complilated.
Comes in nice box and all the cables. This is the kit to buy for anyone, and you'll save a ton.
