i bought this mainly because i wanted a rackmount mixer to save space. i wasnt sure how it would really sound or if it was truely low noise but it is. i recorded a direct input keyboard with some low quality cables and it sounded good as far as i could tell. but to make sure i took the silents parts and amplified them all the way up to 100dbs before seeing any sound waves! when i listened to it i could tell it was strictly electrical interfence from not have a power conditioner.this is worth it!!!

I purchased this mixer to use to mix the drums into my main mixer, Clean Sound, Effects work well. I wish you could turn channels off with out having to adjust the levels. I run multiple bands and sometimes you don't need all the channels but I like to just kill that channel. Other than that AWSOME!!! Another Sound man looked over my setup and he is buying one now too.

I have used this Behringer Rx1202 for two years, in my home studio. I have recorded several CDs with no problems, no noise, mic preamp works great, FX effects sound nice. Takes 3 rack spaces, has all inputs and outputs I need to make my setup work nicely. For those of us with a budget, this mixer is worth every dollar. Satisfied and would recommend.

I bought this mixer a while ago. I have a PA for my drums so i needed something with the right amount of inputs (which was 8). I saw this thing and immediately bought it. When I got it, I put headphones on and listened to the sound i got with it for my drums (you need somewhat soundproofed headphones to do that with drums) and they sounded amazing. I tweaked with it for a few days here and there and I was stunned. I can put reverb on just the snare and a little on the toms, meanwhile my bass drums sound nice and tight. AWESOME mixer for the price. Definitely a great buy

I am old and slow, so I like to have all my stuff plugged in. DR880, JunoG, GT8, MKII, Mic, CD, PC, EiEiO... The effects are very useful. Takes a while to remember where your favorites are. Stays cleaner from dust than a table model. I flip a switch on a Monster Pro Power Unit and the whole thing comes to life. Small tweak here and there and I can record and idea, or jam to an MP3 or CD. Headphone or monitors, I leave most settings flat or send them L/R for stereo. Just a great unit for the cost. Makes all the STUFF easy to manage.
