Great little mixer

I use this to do computer audio recording using both dynamic and condenser mics. Initially, this device did not come with Phantom Power and in the instruction manual (for 502, 802, 1002, 1202), it doesn't state 502 comes with Phantom power. But my 502 packaging states 'Now with Phantom Power' but it does not have a physical 'phantom switch' so I took it back to the dealer and the shop assistant tried with a condenser and it worked!

I have an older version of this model. One thing I have not read, and wanted to share, is that this mixing board is a great practice tool for all you out there who are looking for a way to practice silently. Plug in your iPod, plug in your bass (or guitar or whatever) and plug in your headphones. I had a C-Tech Pocket Rock-It that I used for practice. I like the mixer better. Same price, way more versatile, and who needs to walk around with your practice tool anyway? That was the only advantage the Rock-It had. And now when I listen to the iPod as a play-along, it is in stereo, which is a nice feature of the mixer.

I use this mixer for recording on my computer and recording in the field to my camcorder. The only problem that I have run into with this mixer is that it does not have phantom power for condenser mics. But over all it is a great well built mixer.

Using this to mix the room mic and lines form FOH to internet stream of bands from club. After a month of trouble-free operation the headphone output died. Need to and will get another one. To cheap to pass up at this price.

Handy little mixer for use in training seminars. Easy to pack. Be aware that the clunky power supply with the odd connector is 120v only, so a transformer is needed for Europe, etc. (Made in China, though Behringer claims Germany as its home. You'd figure they'd put out a few cents to make dual voltage possible.)
