Oh Man, am I Glad I Added the Second B1

I've been using a Bose L1 system with a single B1 for about a year and a half now. I play in restaurants and bars and don't usually need that much volume since people want to be able to talk. I just got around to adding a second B1 bass cabinet to my rig, and I'm sure glad I did. It has way more power now and cleaner bass punch at low volumes. This is the sixth PA I've ever owned and it is certainly my favorite.

I'm a DJ I just recently switch from my old JBL rig to a Double L1-8B1 system- Simply Amazing in two words. I use 8 B1's for large events in a full size gym- all the way down to two of the B1's when I play at a small bar. That's the great thing about these - you bring only what you need to bring! And they have the cleanest most accurate bass I've ever heard!

I use this cabinet with my Bose L1 Model I, and I gig as a solo act doing guitar and vocals along with backing tracks. The first night I used this system I was surprised at all the bass presence in my sound. At my first break I went to the bar to ask if I was too loud. They said no, but you could feel the bass in your chest... and it wasn't too loud. Amazing.

I Just purchased a second B1 Module and I have to say, if you think this has weak sound or not enough punch, then you are setting it up wrong. Using two of these together really pushes our drums and base, without drowning out the other instruments or vocals. I have been a pro musician for about eight years now, and the bose L1 system with two B1 modules is the best PA system for venues under 400 people on the market. Crystal clear music and vocals and tight, punchy, base!

Gutless wonder. Best suited for home stereo or video playback. My car's CD system (factory JBL--not a custom one) has FAR MORE sub-bass than this dog. I put an analyzer on it and it was -16db below a $70 Kustom 12" two way speaker (below 100 htz). If you have an extra 2000 watts to somehow power this--you will be fine. Until the speaker jumps out of its socket, that is. Go to Radio Shack and get more bass than this!!
