The L1 Model I Single System/Dual Bass Package includes one Bose L1 Model I Cylindrical Radiator Speaker, one Bose L1 Model I Power Stand, and one Bose B1 Bass Module.

Hear the same quality sound your audience hears with the award-winning L1 Model I system. Based on over 10 years of groundbreaking Bose research, this all-in-one amplification system features the unique Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker. Its proprietary, vertical design helps fill the room with clear sound like no ordinary speaker can.

Wide, uniform coverage-throughout the room
The innovative Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker has a line array of 24 small drivers mounted into a vertical enclosure for wide, horizontal sound coverage. In comparison to a conventional speaker, volume and tone diminish very slowly over distance.

The loudspeaker's wedge-shaped dispersion pattern sends very little audio up or down, preventing much of the room reverberation that can muddy your sound.

In contrast to a conventional setup, an L1 system lets you, your fellow musicians and the audience hear the same sound. You don't need any other stage monitors, mixers or PA speakers. Your L1 system replaces them all with one sleek, powerful setup.

Built-in amplifiers, mixer and ToneMatch presets
The L1 Model I power stand includes built-in amplifiers to drive the loudspeaker and up to two B1 bass modules. It also has an integrated four-channel mixer with two XLR and two line-level inputs.

Onboard ToneMatch Presets-another Bose exclusive-let you quickly optimize the tone of up to 100 specific instruments and microphones, at the touch of a button. For more inputs and a suite of effects and tone-shaping tools, add the optional T1 ToneMatch audio engine.

L1 Model I Cylindrical Radiator Speaker
The L1 Model I Cylindrical Radiator Speaker is an integral component of the from Bose L1 Model 1 system. The unique Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker comes in two sections and has a line array of 24 small drivers mounted into a vertical enclosure for wide, horizontal sound coverage. This proprietary design helps fill the room with clear sound like no ordinary speaker can. In comparison to a conventional speaker, volume and tone diminish very slowly over distance.

The loudspeaker's wedge-shaped dispersion pattern sends little sound to the floors, upper walls and ceilings, minimizing room reverberation and increasing clarity. In contrast to a conventional setup, the L1 system lets you, your fellow musicians and the audience hear the same sound. You don't need any other stage monitors, mixers or PA speakers. The L1 system replaces them all with one sleek, powerful setup.

The L1 Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker features a two-piece, interlocking design for quick and easy transport, setup and breakdown. Each section of loudspeaker is 43 1/2" (1.1 m) high. It includes an interlocking bayonet with center and bottom latches.

L1 Model I Power Stand
As well as being the mechanical support for the Bose L1 Cylidrical Radiator loudspeaker, the Bose Model I Power Stand houses the amplifier and mixer for the 4-channel system L1 system. This innovative system eliminates the need for conventional monitors, mixers, and PA speakers. It is the ultimate in fidelity and is extremely lightweight and portable. Features of the PS1 Power stand include:

I own the L1 System 1, I play my guitar through it , I just plug my pedal board into it, I use a fender tele, I used to play through a tube amp, this blows that away,we have 3 of these in our band, we use them inside and out side and they sound great we have 7 bass bins, our bass man uses 4 drummer uses 2 and I use 1, I would never go back to amps and big PA systems, buy one of these you will love it.

Good Sound

I play piano and put bass/drum background tracks and vocals through the Bose. Overall sound quality is really great. I know it seems crazy, but sound is so pure you don't need reverb for vocals. The bass is really fat and solid. On-stage placement of the Bose takes some experimentation. Had to get over my preconceived notions of traditional speaker/amp sound systems. The system sounds consistently good in every room. Sets up and tears down quicker than traditional speaker/p.a. head. For best results use the T1 tone match unit.

I have these Bose L1 's 3 "pipes" & 10 subs, & using like PA system . Very good sound, frequency response, sound projection spread ( until 180 angle ), & less echoes in bad acoustic halls. This is best my purchase, when I was happy, that I spend big money for good equipment. 100% of satisfaction.

Good system

I have owned this system for over a year. I bought it used, with one sub. This is the best system I have ever used and I have been playing in a band for 8 years. You really need to have 2 subs for outdoor gigs. 1 sub usually works fine for indoor gigs. Also in order to get the maximum use out of this system you need the Tonematch mixer. I used a mackie mixer for awhile and the tonematch blows it out of the water with all settings and EQ's you can use. If you are planning on using this for a band you might want to buy one for everyone in the band, because 1 cannot keep up with a full live band. I have tried to use it just for vocals and I don't think it is loud enough. But for me the solo guitar loop show it is perfect and portable. People constantly look at it and are amazed by the sound!!

I have used my L1 for well over 400 shows and I won't travel without it. The venues love it because it doesn't blow out people's ears and it has a small foot print. I love because it sounds great and there is reduced liability since it all sits behind me. There is nothing to tip over or trip over.
