I have 3 of these microphones I use to mic an elementary school choir of about 30 children. I run the accompaniment cd through a monitor which these mic's pick up fine then everything is mixed at my soundboard. I do not have them permanently installed but just tape them to a mic stand when concert time rolls around. Perhaps this is why I originally had problems with feedback. Since I switched to using a monitor that only plays the accompaniment the feedback issues have been resolved. This is an inexpensive quality mic that picks up a lot. Be aware that it does need phantom power and comes with an adapter from mini xlr to regular. Used to come in white or black as well.
