Bought these mics out of curiousity, wasn't expecting much since they're pretty inexpensive. Been using them to record, acoustic guitar drums. They sound INCREDIBLE, just as good as my expensive ones.. And there SO small...Going to buy 2 more.

Since getting these a couple of months ago, I've used them to record viola and horn as well as setting them up to record cymbals and snare on my kit. In addition, I used them this past weekend to amplify the vocals for a small musical review in an outdoor concert. In all cases, they have performed well.

I bought a couple of these to mic a grand piano and loved them. I bought another and put it over the drum set, and the sound and response is stunning. I think these would also be good on choirs, but I prefer suspended mics for that application.

I was skeptical of these and CAD in general. But they don't sound that bad. They sound similar to another cheaper small diaphragm A.T. mic I have; but these are 1/4 the price of that! As overheads they are a bit thin and tend to color (boost) the mid-highs. But a little eq can make these produce an acceptable tone for ANY project.
