Very nice and comfortable headset, I am quite blown away from the sound and mic quality that this headset can produce. If you have a nice sound card, then this is the perfect headset to pair it up with. Listening to music is flippin' amazing. This is also a great headset for gaming, as it is comfortable for long term use and if you play any of the CoD games you will be able to hear footsteps VERY clearly. That can be VERY handy at times. The USB cable is a very thick which I like because my old headset had a thin cable and I just lost sound out of my left ear which is why I purchased this. No regrets here, I highly recommend this!

I compared these phones to literally every other pair on this website before I bought them for desktop production more than six months ago.

I even wrote in to ask what the frequency response might be but no one could answer that question and I still have no idea.

Nontheless, they sound crisp & clear with good bottom end. When you can tell that the guitarist has steel strings and the bassist is using nylon, the range has to be decent.

They're extremely comfortable with the leather pads and easy to wear through long sessions.

They've stood up well to having been tossed around and sat upon and the steel adjusting (double) arms are very easy to get a tight, comfortable fit out of.

The mike (not "mic") is ideal for voice but I wouldn't want to try it for full orchestration - not that you could.

The USB connector makes them so perfect for direct-to-hard-drive recording that I almost don't mind not being able to use them on my analogue equipment - not really! I wish there was some kind of USB to 1/8" plug available...

Atthe current price, they're probably the best buy in phone that I've seen personally since I got my old Nova Pro's from Radio Shack in 1968.
