This was on back order and I waited a month and a half to get it, and it works like a charm. I connect a Yamaha PSR-530 to my laptop. Also attached is a Soundblaster Extigy. The Extigy is only USB 1.0, and the latency is really bad. With the CME U2MIDI cable, there isn't any latency, even if I specify the Extigy as the output device.

I use Cakewalk Home Studio 2002.

I bought this because it was less than the USB MIDI cables from E-Mu and M-Audio. It works great in Windows XP and the 32-bit version.

After using this cable for about a year, I upgraded my computer to 64-bit Vista and found that this cable is not supported in that version. Reviews I've read for the other companies USB to MIDI cables state that theirs are supported by the native Vista drivers, but while this cable is detected, it only gives a "Device cannot start" error.
