Great Intro Into Beat Making

This is one of the easiest to use programs out there, you can start making beats in no time. There even pre-made templates of lost of different Genre's to get you going if you are a complete beginner. Give it a shot, and as other's have mentioned Using it as a Re-Wire application, then you have no limits.

K-2 is strraigh up one of the easiest to use sequencers around. It was fast and simple to learn-just read the instructs. It gives you all the tools you need to make some crucial beats. K-2 falls bigg in one area- Sound Sets. The only way you're gonna get anything out of it is to use Rewire'ing with it's VST Adaptor. K-2 is a VST Platform so thats what's keepin it in the race. Overall for Hip-Hop Tracks I really like K-2. Although, I have an arsenal of other applications to fill in where K-2 leaves off.

As a stand alone sequencer, real easy to use. Drum sounds aren't that great, but that's OK for me. The real effectiveness of this program is evident when used as a rewire component with cakewalk sonar to get those synthesized sounds used in today's rap and hip hop music. For those of you not familiar with rewire, you should read up on it. It's basically adding the synth sounds and controls to your Cakewalk arsenal. A must have for rap and hip hop artists, I can't imagine not having it.
