With version 3, Melodyne is no longer limited to melodies but offers a unique algorithm that can perform high quality time stretching on full chords and complex audio signals; so now harmonic material (such as rhythm guitar or piano parts)—whether homophonic or polyphonic—can be transposed (without altering the tempo), slowed down or sped up (without altering the pitch) and even quantized. What's more, all this can be done in real time with the sound quality for which Melodyne is famous.

God bless the day when I discovered this software. I was looking for editing software this powerful. This software lets you fully correct pitches and even harmonize your vocals or pretty much any single instrument. No longer do you have to re-record a Riff or Phrase just because you are off-beat or off-pitch. When you're done editing every bit of your project you can Save Audio to a WAV. file. So you may mix it down with your other tracks. I think up to 8 tracks. The mastermind behind this software is a genious. Yes its a little on the expensive side but if you can afford it, its worth every penny.
