I bought 2 of these packs a little over two years ago and never got around to using them until lately. (One of my American DJ dimmer packs crapped out after about 8 years.) Neither of the Chauvet dimmers worked properly. One doesn't respond to DMX commands and the other has no output on the CH.1 outlets. I guess I should have tested them the day I received them. (Live and learn...)

don't use these for an installed system. their settings randomly get messed up and you have to redo them. had a chip burn up on one 4 months in. sick of always having to get chauvet stuff fixed

I bought this as a replacement for my can lights and what an improvement to what I had been using,better effects and brighter light display.I would recommend this to all live bands light show.

Chuvet is a good product and very dependable... although I did get one dimmer that had a dead circuit. Only three channels worked. A quick phone call and another was on the way for a replacement. That's above par for lighting I have used in the past. I like my Chauvets and recommend them to any.

Overall these are good units, though I've gotten a couple of them damaged upon receipt. This site replaced them within a week. There is one thing about these dimmers that is kind of bizarre: The specs on the website, box and manual say "10amps/Channel, 20amps total at 110volts." BUT, on the unit itself it says "5amps/Channel, 15amps total at 110volts." BIG DIFFERENCE! I called Chauvet, and they claim it is a misprint on the units. Hopefully that is true.
