I have set up haunted houses with all the gadgets, strobes, lightning machines using par cans, lazers...etc. Until this fogger IO've gone for the usual 1000w. This 1300 blows them away!! fogged the entire neighborhood!! (not a windy night this halloween. Also use effects for our band. I haven't tried this one yet, noone could see inside I'm sure! the wired timer/contoller is great! I used the 1300 for 4 hours with timer on full discharge at quickest interval and used about 1/4 of the tank also! you can'y go wrong!

I haven’t used this Chauvet 1300 hurricane much yet… So I can’t comment on the durably of the fogger. What I can comment on is the output with this Fog Machine. This fogger will produced enormous amount of fog. I have a big basement 33x66 room & 9ft tall… It took 3 burst of 30 second and the room was so foggy I couldn’t see the other side of the room. I’m happy with the amount of fog… for the price I paid & you also get a free 1 gallon of juice with it. Another thing I liked was the wired timer remote. Set the timer and forget about it… has big fog tank & its illumination so that’s kewl too!

I have owned other Chauvet machines that were not well made an did not live up to there spec so I was a little scared to buy more when my 1250 machine died this year but with the price i desided to buy them anyways. These new machines are great. The new 1300 machines live up to the specs and are a really great machine.
