The Chauvet LED Techno Strobe RGB is a DMX-512 controllable, flash LED panel made up of highly efficient and super-bright colored LEDs. With a coverage area of 20' x 20' and features like blackout/static/dimmer/strobe, RGB color mixing with or without controller, an additional power output for daisy chaining units, and low power consumption, the LED Techno Strobe RGB is sure to impress you and your audience.

The LED Techno Strobe can operate in three modes: standalone, master/slave, and DMX-512 with 6 channels. Without a DMX controller, it can be operated as a single fixture or together with several other LED Techno Strobe RGB fixtures in master/slave mode. It's also linkable with the LED Techno Strobe and the LED Shadow in standalone mode. The DMX control mode lets you control each individual trait of the fixture and each fixture independently for the greatest flexibility when customizing or creating a show. There are built-in automated and sound-active programs for master/slave and DMX modes. In standalone mode, you can control the adjustable flash rate, dimmer, and static in standalone mode via dipswitches.

Great Light

For out band I am the lead vocalist/guitarist/sound tech/roadie/merch table worker, so it's no surprise that we don't have a dedicated light tech. I bought two of these to supplement my 2 Chauvet Steppers and several PAR 38s and man this light is sweet. The LEDs are terribly bright. It is the equivalent of 3 quality PAR 38's at least. The DMX dip switches are labeled and are really user friendly. The set of two chained together cover our 20 x 20 stage with no problem. These babies are really dynamic with strobe, color change and wash programs that all run sound activated in sync with my other lights. It seems a little pricey in comparison to LED cans, but hey they look really sweet hanging on the truss.

Get a couple of these and shoot them at your wall or ceiling at an event and they'll really amaze your guests. Having a DMX controller is good, but you don't really need one. You can mix your colors using the dip switches on the back of the unit. Coverage is pretty good and these things are really bright. Easy to use, you won't be disappointed, unless you need a lot of coverage, in that case, get a bunch!

Goods: 1. VERY BRIGHT, can light up a small room by it self 2. Right on time, with the self timer to go with the beat of the song 3. strong, this thing wont break, unless maybe you throw it at a wall

Bads: 1. It has self patterns but you cant harness one pattern and keep it on that one if you like it 2. the setting for which colors you want are TINY if you have small fingers, it shouldn't be that hard, but anything else, GG go get a toothpick to switch the little switches

I would say very good, but if your looking for a strobe, this isn't your thing, if your looking for a cool addition to your lighting for a DJ, this will do that better than anything else for the price
