Like it's little brother, the LX5, this moonflower effect fixture features 57 ultra bright LEDs (17 red, 24 green, 16 blue) that can be sound activated, static (motors only), or left on automatic. But what gives the LX10 light a little more flavor is the addition of a mirror that scans 180° letting your beams of brilliant color explore the far reaches of the room. Additional power output allows the daisy chaining of up to 50 units to create a magnificent rave-like experience in larger venues with multiple roving lights flooding the floor and walls.

Just hooked up my lx 10 paired up with an electra led moonflower from american dj. The lx 10 has much brighter beams and a more professional look. A little fog and the beams really stand out. We only use the sound active effect, which works great. The sensitivity is adjustable which is nice for different sound situations. The older light seems to look a little more strobe-y. It's movements are more spastic than the lx 10. But the lx 10 is a better, more professional light all around. All in all a great light at an awesome price!

I do a lot of lighting and DJing. I have used LED's in the past but this is the first one I have owned. This thing stands up to MAC 250s and looks great even in a large gym! It is very bright but not overpowering. I honestly would prefer these over MAC 250s. They are small and compact and very light. Out of all of the lights that I have used this is one of my favorites. However, keep in mind that I am using it in fog which makes it look amazing!

I got two of these for a mobile DJ show and used them for the first time this weekend. Set them to sound activate and they just run themselves, giving a great blend of patterns and colors. Being LED, you can run them all night without worry of overheating. If you buy I do suggest buying two, the mixture of colors will wow any crowd. You can't go wrong for the price.

I received my LX10 recentyl, used it at a live event, and was very pleased with the performance. It's a no frills - no fuss value. Easy setup, light weight, and has surprising room coverage. I ordered another LX10.

I only regret not buying more than one. I was not sure how the LED's were going to light up with medium light, but I was shocked. I almost will have no use for my 4-head Eliminator lights once I can get my hands on a few more!

The Auto mode is "whatever" but the static and sound activated modes work like a charm. The mirror pans to the bass on the sound activated mode. It really adds a great effect, and in low to no light situations it would probly take a high end light to do better!
