we have a small puppet thetare and we needed some razzle dazzle for our birthday parties. This was just what we were looking for. Great for a small space. Really fills the room. I would liked to have an on off switch and effects are limited. All in all kids and parents love it.

Chauvet really makes nice products!! This light is perfect for dances, parties, and most DJ events! Very customizable and the strobe light effect is great! Overall, fantastic light for the money!

Just received my LX5 a few days ago. I gotta say it's exactly what youwould expect it to be. I havent had much experience with LED show lights in the past so I decided to try this one out since it was so inexpensive. It really does a great job, is completely silent and never gets hot. Although I've only ran it for 1 hour at a time. But it definatly doesn't have that "15 minute duty cycle". It's pretty bright as you would expect with LEDs. IT doesn't have a huge pattern but the picture of it working included on this site is exactly what it looks like when running. It switches to several different patterns and looks really cool. IF your a mobile DJ looking for a simple and lightweight setup then I would suggest getting more than one if budget allows since you can plug them into each other. Great for the value, great for small venues and a real crowd pleaser. And when you get the mic sensitivity matched up with your music, it's a pretty nice light show. If your on a budget I would stop looking at other much higher priced lights and just get as many of these as you can afford.

I purchased these for a friend of mine wanting to get into DJing. We made a deal I provided the P.A. and lights, he did the music and work I got him a every other weekend gig at a hotel lounge. I bought him the musicians gear light truss with 6 par 38's and 2 of these, a fog machine and a bubble machine. If you can get these 14-16' above an average sized dance floor they will cover it completely. you can daisy chain 50 so that tells you the power consumption. they work well together, was debating if I should even have him use the other lights. For the money I am going to the KC retail store and buying 2 more and I am thinking of trying a couple of the Lx 10's. Buy These today!
