A complete, footswitchable stage lighting system with 360 energy-efficient LEDs that's ideal for stage bands and DJs.

This lighting system includes two Chauvet Stage Bank lights, one footswitch with a connecting cable, two lighting stands, two lighting stand adapters, and one cable to connect the two Stage Bank lights.

Stage Bank lights: The 180-LED Stage Bank light is sound activated, fully automatic, and ready to go right out of the box. It can function as a compact border, strip, or cyc (cyclorama) light.

Footswitch: A two-button footswitch that has an all-on or an all-off option and comes with a connecting cable that will allow the user to control both Stage Bank bars at once (while the lights are connected). When both footswitch buttons are disengaged, the Stage Bank light will operate in sound active mode and progress through its programs.

Lighting stands: This standard tri-pod stand adjusts from 42" to 71" inches in height, accepts 1-3/8" diameter sockets, and holds 110 pounds at capacity. Its aluminum construction reduces stand weight for easy transport. The molded plastic leg housing with an ergonomic knob is extremely durable.

Lighting stand adapters: Heavy-duty plastic adapters that function to attach the Stage Bank lights to the lighting stands.

Connecting cable: A 66-foot linkable DIN cable that links the two Stage Bank lighting systems.

I didn't know what to expect from this system, but having a few bucks to play with I ordered them. The lights themselves are not heavy duty (didn't expect that for the price anyway) but they are very bright, and the sound activation is very responsive. For small gigs I can't think of any reason these would not be adequite for lighting, they are very light and draw almost no power, no heat... and anyone who has ever done a small bar gig with par cans knows how hot it can get. The 110lb capacity speaker stands are overkill for the 2.7lb lights but I'm not complaining about that, and the cables are long enough to set them up decent. If you take care of your equipment this is a good system for doing small gigs. The only thing that I found undesirable is that they won't angle downward far enough if you run them up high on the stands, but a trip to the hardware store and a couple of $2 angle brackets would fix that. Would I recommend them to others? Yes. Leave your heavy hot cans and light guy home for the small gigs.
