Denon's DN-HD2500 is an all-in-one portable DJ center designed to accommodate the DJ's shift away from vinyl towards digital media. The 2500's turntable is a powerhouse that gives the DJ the familiar feel of old school methods with the versatility of the new media.

This digital turntable houses dueling CD/MP3 spinners and a shock-resistant internal 2.5-inch hard drive for to hold your music collection. The ability to connect additional devices from virtually all-existing storage media, including iPods, external HDs and USB flash drives allows for infinite extensions to the library.

A small screen in the center allows setup, queuing, and beat matching. The Denon DN-HD2500 comes complete with Music Manager software which includes a highly refined search system that allows you to navigate through any files connected to the system using criteria such as playlist, artist, album, title, genre, year, and BPM. Other features include scratching, seamless looping, and a ton of special effects.

Tons of functionality, playlists, and expansion. Been using it two years and while there is a learning curve technical users will quickly have great gigs. I know I do (I'm a computer guy by day DJ Psychic at night). Great product.

I've DJ'd for 10 years and I've used tons of equipment. This is by far the worst. As a dj I'm looking for good quality and easy to use equipment to use this 100% isn't it. If it did what it's supposed to do this item would have a shot of being great oh well it doesn't. it just hangs or skips when you are not even touching it. Sometimes it just shuts down. picture the prom king and queen dance just stop's in the middle. denon is just garbage save your money and buy the cortex HDC-1000 or HDC-3000, they are both solid, and the tech support/customer service is #1. Don't buy this junk one mess up you will look like a fool and chances are you'll never be hired again.

I bought this on a recommendation from a salesman. I had the numark equivalent of this, without the hard drive, and I was truly missing out. The built in Hard drive alone is worth it. No more lugging around cd's or vinyl, or having to remember an external hard drive. You can hook up the hard drive if 40 gb isn't enough for you. The built in effects are great as well. Only had a problem once where all of the song tracks and artists were different, but was solved by a simple database rewrite. Overall, i have always and will always be impressed by the quality of Denon products. This is top quality!
