I have had a package set of these players for about 2 months and I gotta say that they are great for the price. I'm just not too happy with how fast the platter has wore down the don't move with the initial glide they once had.. I haven't found out anything in regards to changing out the touch pad and etc...but overall they seem to be cool players for the people on tight budgets...(Like Me)

They look great, the writeup Denon gives them are great. However, even with a one firmware update already, these players are extremely buggy, unpredictable, and unreliable. It is such a shame because I have been a hardcore Denon user for years and years, but there are just so many problems with these players, it is not worth it at all. To see the issues, visit Denon DJ Forums, and see for yourself. However, there is supposed to be another firmware update that should be coming "soon". So maybe we'll have luck then. Otherwise, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere, because these are way to unreliable to use at a gig. I have had them fail many times, all in different ways. Wait to get these until the firmware update, "SYS 1200" is released. Stick with your current set up for now until SYS 1200 firmware update is released. Hopefully it fixes the long list of problems with the player.
