Yes, I have used this interface, more than once in fact. It works well and has plenty of features. I understand that Pro Tools is a big draw but that price tag is ridiculous. For this price you can buy a VERY nice M-Audio interface and still use Pro Tools.

I own it and I love it! Didnt have any problems with the installing the software, drivers, or anything. Didnt have any problems with hooking everything up to it. It has good pre-amps and the quality vocals you get out of this thing is amazing! I would recommend it to anyone who wants get started on Pro Tools. I had never used PTs before but if watch the M1 DVD and take your time learning how everything works its extremely easy and, of course, its the industry standard so if you want to work your up this is where to start!!!

I have more than 7 years working with Digidesign products and every Production comes with a Pro Quality. If you are lloking for a quick solution for Radio Production, og course you can find others friendly systems that xlick and drag mp3 files to youe session in a blink, but Digidesign complies with wath you required as a pro.

I purchased the Digidesign/Protools LE package less than a month ago. It took lots of patience and careful reading before i was up and running. It certainly has paid off! I'm finding Protools LE extremley easy to use. It's pretty straight forward on how to record a track, correctly save to a hard disk, and burn it. The sound quality is good. I still need to learn the plugins, but that'll come with more patience. A few key points here...read carefully and have patience! When playing back make sure to turn off your record mode button and adjust you volume\mix controls up to get sound. I'm not a recording engineer, I'm just a guitar player. This package is a great recording tool for someone like me!

I own and have used Pro Tools for quite some time. I use this in my home studio to record myself. This is not a program you just open up and expect to know right off the bat. It takes some time to learn. I do agree that digidesign is a bit 'behind.' Pro Tools isnt an easy program to use it is very powerful and can do a lot. It is not designed for casual users. If you want something to just plug in an go, go with logic. There is a reason that so many of the most famous studios use PT. I know its HD and not LE but they are essentially the same software (the hardware is different and its run on PCI cards). When you take the time to learn it it is fantastic. I use it on my iMac and I have never had a problem with it. The mbox is great, with low latency monitoring and good pre amps, its a great way to go.
