This wireless mic system has performed great for our church. The only nuisance is that there's no low battery indicator on the handheld transmitter. So you won't know it's time to change the battery until the unit actually quits on you.

I needed a decent wireless for Weddings and other such events that require speech from the guests. I did not want to spend a ton of money as customers tend not to use equpiment as it should be handled. (drops, high pitch yelling and the like). This thing is gret for that. Great tone and really awesome range. I had my wife go out and walk around the house. It went through walls, brick, siding without a problem. For the price, it can't be beat. I can't comment on how it would be for a band or other performer, but for simply getting speach through speakers it's great.
