I bought a pair of EX-25s last X-mas (8 months ago) and have been very satisfied with the sound and build quality of the phones. While putting them on yesterday, I had the earphone holder break off the headband - as reported by another reviewer here. Upon sending an email to the company, I received a quick response from the owner himself - who proceeded to arrange immediate shipping of a new replacement part to me at no cost. This is superlative customer support which only confirms my original choice in purchasing this fine product.

Have had these headphones for a little over a year. Sound good, isolation very good. In live situation, I often move one earphone (the one away from the drums next to me) off of the ear a bit. Had a problem with the headband, but a new one was promptly shipped.

These headphones get some tough use and are used by me and my sons. "Someone" (:, broke them and when I checked to see what a replacement part would cost I was pleasantly surprised that they would send me a new headband free under warrenty. You can't ask for more than that! Even out of warrenty replacement parts for these headphones are very reasonable priced and readily availavle.

I would echo the review by Pemboian above, my experience with these are virtually the same, while putting them on I had the same experience with the plastic rod breaking. I have given them a slighty lower value score since no matter how well they perform otherwise, they are not a good value if you can't use them.

I have owned many sets of EHI headphones. This is a good model for having in the studio for musicians to use. All headphones take a beating from musicians so I like to have these available and save the EX-29's for myself. They work better than the Vic Firth and sound better.
