I've owned this product and Emulator X/X2 for over four years. I've never had a glitch or problem through 4 computers and XP/XP Pro/Vista/ Vista 64 bit. It's a real champ and the sound is pristine and full, no complaints. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

I have had this interface for about 7-8 mos., and I have been extremely happy with its performance. Great with my cheap and expensive condensers; I have used it to record guitar and vocals with mics, and I have also used my digitech multi-effects straight into this interface. The effects in the Patchmix program are great for environmental/ambience.

Overall great product, excellent sound quality, ver intuitive/user-friendly.

I bought my E-Mu 1820 Sound in 2005 and I fell in love with it. I have a home based studio and get quality studio sound recordings from the comfort of my home using Cubase. This product will amaze you and if you love music and recording you will not be disappointed at all. I recommend it to anyone serious about their music production.

I had this unit a few years ago, and was more than pleased with the performance/price. However, I had to get rid of it due to 1 little glitch - after a few Windows XP boot-ups, the audio output would go completely DEAD, and the only thing that would re-enable it was a complete re-install of Windows XP! Neither the vendor nor E-MU could figure this out, and I'm curious if I'm the only person on the planet who had this problem. But this unit was really great, as long as the outs worked.

Window SP3 Drivers! Fatal issue

I bought one of these a year ago, and it has been a useful interface. The mixer works well, sound is clean.

If you bought this unit do not install windows XP Service Pack 3. Creative does not have a driver, and SP3 won't see the pci card. It will mess up your PC. Backing out is very tricky, no support from Creative. At the moment it looks like I will have to rebuild my PC from scratch to straighten out Creative's mess.
