Maybe I got a dud but aside from OK latency (not great), it likes to randomly stop working. You have to turn it off, then turn it back on and wait like 7 seconds and its backup. My other audio interfaces haven't had this issue on the same computer so I'm guessing its a quality control issue which isn't good when you travel a lot and don't have the convenience of time to keeping returning a product and hoping you get a good one next time :/ Too bad too cause its features/size are great. Latency could be better though.

The Edirol FA-66 is a wonderful Interface! I use it With my Cakewalk Sonar 8 Producer software, Recordings but also any audio that I need including movies, games, Internet etc! For my situation this is a great interface, for it's size, easy to keep on my desk. There are many great interfaces today, but for the price, size and use it's hard to beat, wonderful product!

This thing has pretty good features but it chomps my processor in half! I thought I would be getting a faster connection with the firewire, but I actually have to turn up the buffer size more than I did with my core audio drive. I run a G4 tower and os x 10.4 with 4gb ram and dual 1.2 processors.

This sucker never fails. Has all the great features that most standard firewire interfaces have, midi etc. but it actually sounds good and the built in limiter is a major plus. Great product.
