I own two of these units. I also have three more units that are identical knock-offs of these units but at half the price. The DP-DMX-20L is by far the better unit. It holds up to the constant beating of the road (in and out of the trailer). I have had no problems from these two units but havehad occasional problems withe the "knock-offs". The other units will sometimes freak out and be uncontrollable but these units stay the course. Go ahead and bite the bullet. These units are definately built better and are much more consistant. I have had to fix the XLR plugs on one of my "other" units because the jacks were not very strong (the plastic jacks broke at the aluminum rivets). You will be pleasantly surprised with this unit. My church is buying five units to control front stage and house lighting. That's how much I trust these units. I am designing the sound and lighting for our new sanctuaryand trust these implicitly. I have my 8 can system set into it, and there are 3 or 4 programs that I use all the time. It came with the lights I bought, and I use it every gig. I wouldn't do a show without it. GREAT UNIT!!!

I love this prouduct, I use it all the time for my lighting company. I would recommend it.
