I've read the other reviews, and these speakers can actually punch out above 200 Watts. I bought four of these for a small church, and I highly recommend getting an EQ and boosting the bass and a little bit of treble, as the mid-range can be too much on these.... depending on your taste. I like to cut out some mid-range in my monitors, and it seems like the sound fills the stage lovely. We did put the kick drum and bass guitar in the monitor mix, and you could hear it loud and clear. Problem was, the sound techs did not know how to mix (sorry guys!! haha). Great for if you need to stick a monitor where there is limited room. If you need low end, get a small subwoofer and it sounds amazing!!

Good buy for the $$

These are good monitors for the money. They are compact, and sit at good angles for listening. They are not super powerful, but are good for small stages and weekend giggers. The plug jacks are a little skimpy and are prone to breaking if you step on the plug or wire while it's connected. Still, these work well if used as they are intended and not abused too much.

We (the band) have used these for the last 2 years. As long as you don't need the kick or bBass guitar (or a full band mix) these monitors kick. Very clear vocal reproduction (175 to 16K). Easy to place, versatile and easy to load out at 2AM. I can carry all four at once.

I'm the head musician at our church where we have VERY limited space and money. I started out with two of these monitors about two years ago. Wow! Very lighweight, durable, handle good levels of sound that is very clear and crisp. We now have six of them. They have replaced the two gigantic and heavy Peavey's that we were using. For the money and size, these monitor's can't be beat. Try to find some open box sales; you might save even more money. I did on two of ours.
