This is the best virtual synth out there with additive and subtractive synthesis and a sound to kill for. The filters from this are used on another legendary instrument Stylus RMX and the quality shows on both instruments.

The sounds you get out of this are insane! With most synths, I usually end up adding some type of post processing such as distortions or wah to roughen up the sound. But not with this, the raw sound of this beast can rip through you like a chainsaw.

The OSCar was England's little secret, a duophonic synth that was like a warmed up, 80's take on the legendary Arp Oddessy. It was easier to use but had user-created waveforms, a seriously major thing for it's time. But it was the sound, the filters and the way the two oscillators could be routed via signal flow. And most Americans never heard of it, but if they listened to 80's music they certainly heard it, which will be your experience with the impOSCar, a virtual duplication of the OSCar with a couple of new features, like polyphony and excellent modulation and delay effects. Best of all, the interface is modestly sized with a few popups when in use but no multi-windowed messes. From interface design to capturing the soul of the OSCar this is a no brainer for Juno to near Jupiter, to harder sounding synths. Be sure to check out the arpeggiator as its classic design works so well with the simple but highly functional controls.
