We use it for video recording (music) with all our cameras. The product does exactly as advertised.

The unit serve us well to sync the audio to with our master recording. If we could get a bit more low freq response then we could eliminate our seperate digital recorders and use this only for video and not have to sync it during editing. It's really a minor issue :)

No matter, this unit is really a bargain for any videographers to get perfect sound and not use a microphone.

I needed something to help isolate my vocals and harp against 2 very loud guitars and a bass. Floor monitors have not been a good solution for us due to feedback.

The "Anyspot" is quite simple and user friendly. The transmitter and receiver so far has worked without failure. The signal distance is far more than what you should need in a club-bar setting. The sound quality is very clear and good.

Upgrades that I made were: I bought a clip case (Like a large cell phone case) to slip the receiver into as I did not like the cheap belt clip that came with the unit and worried about it slipping off and hitting the floor. Earbuds also needed upgrading as the originals would not stay in my ears. I bought a cheap pair of Jensen "marshmallow" earbuds which stay in great and work perfectly fine for about $20.00.

For the money and value you can't beat this system. So far, it has been has been very reliable and trouble free. I use both channels one for vocals and one for amplified harmonica. I plug an aux send from my harp amp into the line channel and a vocal send from my vocal pedal into the XLR "mic" input. I then mix volume levels of both inputs individually to create the perfect monitor mix for myself. This system finally provides the solution I have been searching for for years. I can hear my vocals, and harp clearly above the rest of the band without feedback worries and feedback problems from using floor monitors. My hearing is also now being saved from the high DB guitar and bass levels yet I can still hear everyone at a comfortable level to play well. My voice is also being saved as I don't have to strain to hear myself above the rest of the band. I'm performing now better than ever with the most ease and confidence that I've ever had. I have the confidence now to put those little vocal and harp effects out there. Our audience is now getting our absolute best music and performing is much much more enjoyable now.

You can spend a lot more on a Shure or Steinhauser but I really question if you get any more significant value than what the "Anyspot" unit provides. Time will tell on how well it holds up but so far so good!

This piece of equipment has provided a great solution to an ongoing problem for me. If you are looking for an in-ear monitor system at a great value the Galaxy Audio Anyspot fits the bill almost perfectly!

I was of course skeptical because of the low price, but I am impressed. My rack case with my Shure 400 series was stolen and I needed a quick fix. The earbuds they come with are garbage. My ipod came with better. I use Shure E5's and they sound just as good as the Shure 200 series. These are a great deal for the money!!

Overall this unit really impressed me. Make sure you get the units with the "new and improved earbuds". The new ones are ok, the old ones are horrible. It has most of the features of the more expensive units except for a balance control on the belt pack. The plastic feels a little cheap and without batteries in it has very little weight to it. Durability could be an issue if you are rough on equipment. Sound quality and reception are excellent. Overall I would recommend to any one without the cash for the higher end units.

The transmitter and receiver work well, but you will have to buy a good headset and be careful with the belt clip. I often drop my transmitter on the floor because the clip comes off. Not road worthy at all, but good if you only use it once in a while.
