Housed in a metal chassis, the CD T-525 sports a fast slot-load transport. A large jog/shuttle/search wheel is illuminated with a vibrant blue outline, and many of the unit's large rubber buttons are also illuminated. These include cue, play, in, out, pitch, and search. Tracks can be selected instantly with the direct-access numeric pad.

Only OKAY... for a starter.

I bought a pair of these for emergency and to teach a close friend how to be a DJ. They are perfect for the job to teach how to put things together, how to do this and that. Bad on teaching looping and scratching since the loop function is delayed and the jog wheel is only for pitch control. It still looks cool for a party, at least you can look like you know what you're doing. It does seem to be cheap quality and could break easy and it is very bulky for all that is inside. You get what you pay for, good to learn on, but the Stanton S-250 is much better quality for the same price, you just sacrifice some LEDs and a fake platform.

Played with it for 15 min and put it back in the box. Not sure if it has a bpm counter or not. I never saw one. The seamless loop has no beat detection. That is not a really bad thing except for the end loop function is always at least a half second off. You have to push the button before you actually want the loop to end. Useless. This would be great if you just want a neat toy for a neice or nephew but i wouldn't even recommend this as a starter deck. The effects of learning on this p.o.s. would be detramental. Buy only if you feel like shipping something back or being dissapointed all day. I have a day off next week and am way too happy so I might order another one for that. This is no good. Very bright LEDs though if thats all you need. I could barely read any of the button labels because it was so bright.
