The Hercules DJ Console MK2 lets you mix on your computer without any other equipment or you can integrate it into your analog equipment. This versatile mixing station has 2 stereo inputs to connect 2 vinyl turntables or CD players and 2 stereo outputs to play your mix or redirect it to an effects processor or external mixer. The DJ Console MK2 features more precise and more elevated jog wheels to make scratching easy and a split mode to preview your mix in your headphones.

The DJ Console Mk2 also retains the features that made the original DJ Console a success: a dual-deck mixer, a soundcard dedicated to DJing, a microphone input with a talk-over function, and a headphone output for previewing songs. Plus it remains compact and highly portable with power provided by your PC's USB port and included shoulder strap and detachable cover.

The DJ Console MK2 comes with VirtualDJ 3 software, which works with the console to give you total control of your music, with a highly precise instant BPM counter, as well as effects to transform, filter, and loop audio files to give your mixes personality.

Many different types of mixing are possible with the DJ Console MK2: digital mixing of audio files on the MK2's jog wheels, mixing an audio file on a PC together with an analog source from the audio inputs, mixing 2 tracks directly in the DJ Console Mk2 or keeping them separate to mix them once they have been output from the console on an external mixer, and more.

Great home Dj Gear

I have owned Virtual DJ for many years and this console is the perfect companion to the native atomix software.Right out of the box the MK2 was easy to setup and the VDJ 3 software that came with it was easy to install and recognize the Console. I use this for Djing parties and making mixes at home and online.The jog wheels are very sensitive so if you are going to Dj a party where you are just playing tracks it's nice that you can disable the jog wheels in the VDJ control panel.I run the program off my laptop and with other DJ consoles at the same price range I had to turn off all other running programs to not get that annoying pause in the software, But with the MK2 and the VDJ 3 I can leave everything running and there is no problem or pauses while other programs are running. I definitly recommend this to anyone who is short on cash but needs Big on quality and functions!

This is the sort of mixer for beginners using a P.C. Its made for Virtual DJ software (which comes included) and all of the buttons make for easier control rather than using a mouse.
