IK Multimedia Ampeg SVX comes with standalone version which means you can play it live. It's at least as good as ni guitar rig 2 but the standard price is really high. It does have a lot of options and effects it's pretty simple just like an amp but it does sound GREAT, far better than Bass POD xt or live. It's sounds as good as a bass recorded in studio. For this price however you can mic up your amp and pad your room.
