Wonderful... but dig into it

At first after I installed and everything, I wasnt impressed... But the power of this workstations is in combining sounds... For Example theres a 1920 Upright Piano, when played alone, sounds... meh... and theres a Classic Acoustic Piano, that sounds pretty good, but nothing special... now combine these two, work on EQ and mix them right and you get a beutiful piano sound that will make you want to play Let It Be over and over... it sounds *JUST RIGHT*.

BTW ALL these sounds are very CLEAR, and work very well in a Mix...

Pianos are good, Winds are good, Strings are very good, Organs are useless in my opinion, but thats why I have NI B4II.

THE DRUMS... the acoustic drums, although not really expressive, sound sooooo good in a mix, and again, mix them, and if you have EZ Drummer (por Superior 2.0, or any other good drum software) you can mix and match an create very good drum sounds (British Kit, Abbey Kit, Vintage... love em')

Now everytime Im going to work in Logic, first thing I do is open up SampleTank, with all the sounds its a great starting point in composition, and adds a LOT to a song

If you are looking for a module that has all the basic sounds that doesn't eat up all your cpu power, this is a pretty good unit. You can get by with these sounds but it is not a monster keyboard sound like a Kurzweil or Triton in my opinion. Pianos are weak. With their current promotion, you get another IK Multimedia software for free, but it took my 5 hours on broadband to download all the samples that come with it.
